Haldi Function Decoration Ideas (Yellow Themes That Work)

Yellow is the easiest colour to get wrong. Here are haldi décor ideas that photograph beautifully — not neon-tacky.

Palette done right

Mustard yellow + cream + sage green. Marigold + white + ochre. Lemon + dusty gold + sage. All better than fluorescent yellow + bright orange.

Setups that work

Haldi seat under floral canopy. Low lounge seating with marigold floor. Open-air haldi with draped yellow fabric. Haldi photo zone with yellow floral wall.

Logistics

Flooring protection (haldi stains anything it touches). Guest attire warnings. Backup clothing for the couple. Easy-wash fabric choices for décor.
